The Parish Council is concerned that law and order is maintained within the parish. To this end regular meetings are held with our local police oficer.

The Police force have a very effective website, which reports criminal activity by location, together with the results and progress of their investigations.

It is worth noting that Beckermet and Thornhill have a relatively low level of crime, and the incidence of crime is falling steadily.

Police reports are submitted to the Parish Council and these are reviewed at Parish Council Meetings.
